Covid-19 Food and Basic Relief

Covid-19 illness is hitting India.  There is a nationwide shelter-in-place to stem the death rate.   This is effecting the market place in rural villages food shortages are happening and in many areas and food prices are increasing.  Many of CTI's churches are in these villages.   We need your help to bring food and the basic needs to our brothers and sisters in Christ.

Supporting Pastors

Johnpaul has identified 30 pastors in extreme financial need.  These pastors are in very poor villages where the offering plate giving does not meet the financial need of the pastor.  The pastor's cannot find other work because the community knows he is a Christian pastor and, therefore, will not employ him.  $50 feeds a pastor and his family for the month. 

Support the Widow's Home

The widows home host 30+ widows.   The home needs $600 per month to meet the basic needs of food, clothing and utilities.  By selecting this option you are agreeing to a monthly recurring donation in increments of $25 to meet help this need. 

Support the Elderly Home

40+ elderly people living under a covered patio at their pastors home.  A new home that will house all of them is under construction.   $550 per month is needed to provide food and utilities for these elderly people.  By selecting this option you are agreeing to a monthly recurring donation in increments of $25 to help meet the need.

Support the Orphanages

CTI is supporting two orphanages each have 30+ children.  $1200 per month provides food, utilities, clothing, and education for both orphanages.   By selecting this option you are agreeing to a monthly recurring donation in increments of $25 to help meet the need. 

Capital Needs

Our focused capital need for the remainder of 2018 is the purchase farmland that can be worked by our Christian brothers and sisters in the elderly home and widow's home.  This will allow them to help provide for themselves, especially if the government is successful in cutting our support off to Johnpaul.  We are raising $80-$100K to meet this need.  Please consider helping.

General Donation

Your general donation will go to meet urgent needs of food and clothing, or other direct costs of travel, training/eduction resources for pastors, or other costs of the orpanages and widow homes.
